Coquitlam RCMP seek to identify suspect in home invasion

The suspect

COQUITLAM RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a home invasion suspect which sent one victim to hospital.

Frontline officers responded to a home invasion at a residence near Dawes Hill Road and Warrick Street in Coquitlam at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6. An unknown man had entered the residence, which was occupied by several residents, when he assaulted one of the residents before fleeing. An adult man suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital.

The incident appears to be targeted and isolated, police said.

The suspect man can be described as:

  • White
  • Balding
  • Brown mustache
  • Hazel eyes
  • Medium build

He was wearing:

  • Long black dress jacket
  • Dark jeans
  • Dark lace up shoes with white soles
