ON Sunday at about 1:05 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to the report of a traffic incident in the intersection of 108 Ave between 133 Street and University Drive in which a female was struck.

The victim did not survive her injuries. The driver is in police custody.

The integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are assisting the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision investigation Team with the investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages. Investigators are collecting statements and canvassing for video. Anyone with information, including dash cam footage in the area of 133A street and 108Avenue at about 1 a.m. is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2022-141742.
