NEW Westminster Police are appealing to the public to assist in providing CCTV footage or dash cam footage that may help in an investigation of a suspicious interaction that occurred on Saturday, October 26 at approximately 11 a.m. in the 200-block of 11th Street.

Police received a report after two 12-year-old girls were approached by a male driver in a white cargo van while standing outside a residence. The driver asked if they wanted to go for a ride, which resulted in the girls immediately leaving to inform a trusted adult about the incident. At this time the suspect can only be described as male.
