RICHMOND RCMP are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at a financial institution.
On June 17, Richmond RCMP received a report of a robbery at a financial institution located in the 5900-block of No. 3 Road. A female suspect approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money while making threats. The suspect obtained a small amount of cash before leaving the area on public transit.
Investigators are releasing images of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognize her to contact police.
Suspect Description:
- Female, dark-skinned
- Approximately 40-50 years old
- Approximately 5’0 tall, medium build
- Wearing a grey baseball cap, black hooded jacket, black leggings, black running shoes
- Carrying a green reusable shopping bag
“Incidents involving threats toward employees are taken very seriously,” says Constable Scott Lee, Richmond RCMP General Investigative Services. “We are asking anyone who recognizes this individual or has information about her identity to come forward.”
