ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Fraud Bureau are reaching out to the public for assistance in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation.

In July and August, the Fraud Bureau received several complaints from the public with respect to the conduct of a Brampton lawyer and the alleged fraudulent utilization of his trust account.  It is alleged that, to date, the complainants have been financially impacted in an amount totalling over three million dollars.

A criminal investigation into the allegations has commenced.  The subject of the investigation is Pawanjeet Mann of PJ Mann Law, located at 214-5 Brisdale Drive, Brampton, Ontario.

As per the Law Society of Ontario, Pawanjeet Mann’s licence to practice law has been revoked.

Investigators are urging anyone who has information in relation to allegations of fraudulent interactions with the above lawyer to contact the Fraud Bureau at (905) 453-3311, ext. 3335.
