ON Sunday, June 23, 2024 at approximately 5:19 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision near the exit ramp of 176 Street and 80 Avenue. As a consequence of the two-vehicle collision, the traffic control unit was damaged and rendered the traffic lights inoperable.

There were no significant injuries to the parties involved, but the intersection traffic light repair time is estimated to be approximately five hours. Members of the public are being asked to detour around the area due to significant traffic disruption.
