THE kick-off event for Lights at Lafarge–Metro Vancouver’s largest free winter lights display, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each winter to the City of Coquitlam–takes place on November 28, 5-9 p.m., at Lafarge Lake, Town Centre Park.

This year’s installation features new displays, along with the classic walk-through experience around Lafarge Lake. With live music, food vendors on site, and a fiery finale you won’t forget, there’s something for everyone at this year’s Kick Off Event.

· Lights at Lafarge season runs from November 28, 2025 – February 16, 2026 (Family Day)

· Jingle Bells Night – loop the lake and attempt to break a world record on December 20, 2025

· The Coca-Cola Caravan returns December 11 – 12 (5 – 10 p.m.) with free drinks and Santa photo ops

· Park Spark Light Brigade activities from December through to February , including creative workshops, themed nights, story walks and family-friendly adventures
