The paintings feature an almost hallucinatory look at cities, referencing specific buildings from cities such as New Delhi, New York and Ottawa. Large simians appear on skyscrapers built on the ruins of their forest. Cars spout golden flowers instead of smoke. Wings want to fly.

Earlier this year, a work from this series was bought by the City of Ottawa as part of their 2017 Direct Purchase program.
