GURU Nanak’s Free Kitchen (GNFK) invites the community to join its 6th Annual “Love All, Feed All” Bike-A-Thon & Walk-A-Thon on Sunday, September 20, starting and finishing at Sukh Sagar Gurdwara, 347 Wood Street, New Westminster.
The annual event brings together riders, walkers, families and community members in an act of seva (selfless service) to support GNFK’s mission of feeding people experiencing homelessness and those in need throughout the Lower Mainland.
Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to walk or ride at their own pace in support of GNFK’s work. No extraordinary effort is required — just a willingness to show up for the community.

Since 2006, GNFK has served meals to people experiencing homelessness and those in need across the Lower Mainland. The organization began by serving approximately 10,000 meals in its first year and has since grown to provide more than 60,000 meals annually, supported by a network of over 700 volunteers.
Today, GNFK operates a dedicated kitchen in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, continuing to expand its capacity to serve meals with dignity, compassion and love.
Every dollar raised and every participant who takes part directly supports GNFK’s ability to put food on the table for people who need it most. Organizers emphasize that participation doesn’t require athletic achievement — simply walking, riding, or bringing family members to take part is a meaningful contribution to the cause.
“Every step, every ride and every act of seva helps GNFK continue putting food on the table for people who need it most,” said Indy Panchi. “Together, let’s turn compassion into action.”
Community members are encouraged to register early to secure the $35 rate, receive a free T-shirt, and be entered into the bicycle prize draw.
The public is invited to register, donate, or simply come out to support participants on event day. Community members are also encouraged to share the event with family, friends and their broader networks to help maximize turnout and impact.
