JOHNNY Walkus, a high-risk and violent offender who failed to report to his Vancouver halfway house, has been re-arrested by VPD officers. He is now back in custody.

Walkus was spotted this afternoon by officers on patrol near Cambie Street and West Broadway. He was arrested without incident.
