ICBC driver licensing services at the Guildford Corporate Centre in Surrey will reopen on Saturday, September 6, after ICBC successfully secured a solution through the Labour Relations Board.
“This outcome ensures our employees can continue serving customers at this location despite ongoing picketing by the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU) and the Professional Employees’ Association (PEA),” said ICBC in a statement.
“Our priority throughout this disruption has been minimizing impacts on our employees and customers. By applying for a common site order, ICBC worked to ensure our employees have safe and reliable access to the building so we can continue providing the driver licensing services the people of British Columbia count on.”
In addition to Guildford, customers can visit any of ICBC’s nearby offices, which remain fully open and unaffected by BCGEU and PEA job action:

- Port Coquitlam Driver Licensing – 1930 Oxford Connector, Port Coquitlam
- Burnaby Driver Licensing – 3880 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby
