AT the annual memorial for 331 victims of the 1985 terrorist bombings of Air India flights from Canada on Friday, June 23 in Stanley Park’s Ceperley playground area in Vancouver.

The horrendous bombing of Air India Flight 182 on June 23, 1985, off the coast of Ireland in which 329 people died and the Narita airport explosion in the luggage meant for another Air India plane in Japan on the same day in which two baggage handlers were killed, remains unsolved.

Grieving family members of the victims were accompanied by Health Minister Adrian Dix, minister of state George Chow, Indian Consul General Manish, Liberal MP Taleeb Noormohamed, NDP MLA Jinny Sims, former BC premier Ujjal Dosanjh and former MLA Dave Hayer.
