Langley RCMP seize weapons in search of Surrey residence

Weapons and drugs seized during search of Surrey residence.

ON June 14, the Langley RCMP General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a Surrey residence in relation to a May 24 robbery / home invasion in Langley.

The robbery took place at a residence in Willoughby where two men and a woman entered the home, punched the resident, knocking out one tooth and breaking another, and stole several electric skate boards, a box of tools, a tablet, a pressure washer and a big screen television. The stolen property is valued at approximately $12,000.

Two of the suspects were known to the victim. The unknown suspect produced a handgun during the robbery and threatened the victim.

Investigators were able to identify all three suspects and this lead to the search warrant execution in Surrey. All the stolen property was recovered in the residence in addition to multiple firearms, ammunition and a sizeable quantity of illicit drugs.

Langley RCMP said this week that the two men believed to be involved, a 36-year-old and a 34-year-old, both of Surrey, have been arrested and released from custody on an undertaking with conditions. The evidence is being compiled and will be forwarded to the BC Prosecution Service for their consideration of charges.
