Male arrested by Richmond RCMP on multiple warrants faces 13 new charges

RICHMOND RCMP Property Crime Unit identified a male who allegedly committed multiple break and enters and stole mail from the same complex located on Lansdowne Road in Richmond. The first break-in took place on October 3, 2020.

Officers identified the suspect within a couple of weeks of this series of break and enters starting, however, despite numerous efforts to locate him, his whereabouts remained unknown until last week.

On January 7, Kristopher Mino was located by the Richmond RCMP Property Crime Unit and arrested on three outstanding warrants, including assault causing bodily harm, break and enter and mail theft. 

Mino, who was arrested in Surrey and held in custody, has now been charged with an additional 13 counts of break and enter.

“We are committed to identifying and arresting anyone involved in property related offences in Richmond”, said Sgt. Simon Lee, NCO in-charge of Richmond RCMP Targeted Enforcement Units, “This is an excellent example of our ability to identify, link and arrest those targeting our community.”
