ON Monday at 9:52 p.m., Abbotsford Police responded to a 911 call that a shooting had taken place within a residence located in the 3500-block of Latimer Street and located a 41-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Lifesaving medical intervention was performed on scene by first responders, but the man succumbed to his injuries.
Abbotsford Police say they are in the preliminary stages of this investigation and no suspects have been identified or arrested at this time.
The Abbotsford Police Major Crime Unit will be transitioning this investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).
