Mercedes-Benz Canada announces pricing for the all-new E-Class Sedan

Mississauga, Ontario: The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan – the standard for mid-range luxury sedans for more than 75 years – is ready for its next chapter. Arriving in Canadian dealerships in April 2024 at an all-inclusive cash purchase price of $79,8401 (European model 2024 E 350 Sedan pictured, price includes optional 20″ AMG Multi-Spoke Alloy wheels, base MSRP of $73,900, plus fees and additional charges), the new E-Class seamlessly brings together tradition and modernity, pairing classic sedan proportions with distinctive new design elements, and featuring the very best of digital and analog luxury throughout its spacious interior.

The new E-Class is both an homage to its roots as a luxury sedan and a technological powerhouse, with significant advances throughout. It introduces a new third generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, creating a foundation for an immersive entertainment experience, including the optional MBUX Superscreen. The E 350 sedan offers a 2.0L Inline-4 Turbo with 48V Mild Hybrid System, while the E 450 sedan features a 3.0L Inline-6 Turbo with 48V Mild Hybrid System.

The all-new E-Class greets the driver and passengers with a premium mix of the highest quality interior surfaces, which feature a new fine-grain finish. A high-resolution 14.4″ central multimedia display appears to float in the centre of the dashboard. Customers who opt for the MBUX Superscreen Package will enjoy the additional 12.3″ front passenger display, privacy function for passenger display, and the all-new selfie and video camera. The large glass surface of the MBUX Superscreen extends from the A-pillar on the passenger side to the central display, giving front passengers their own personal display and control area. The new E-Class offers extensive standard equipment, including Panoramic Sliding Sunroof, Heated Front Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, KEYLESS-GO, MBUX Navigation Premium, 64-Colour Ambient Lighting, 14.4-inch central multimedia touchscreen display, Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC and much more.

The electronic architecture in the new sedan is more software-driven, which makes individual updates easier in the future. Numerous functions are powered by a new central onboard computer, including: a zero-layer design which reduces user scrolling for common functions and an optional MBUX Interior Assistant. Artificial Intelligence adapts to personal habits and helps customers with their daily routines.

The available Burmester® 4D Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos® Spatial Audio features 17 premium speakers (including speaker units in the headliner), 15 amplifier channels, a total system output of 730 watts and Dolby Atmos® technology for compatible audio formats, including playback via online music streaming services like Apple Music2 and Amazon Music2.

The new exterior features the proportions of a classic ‘cab-backward’ design (a short front overhang and long hood) as well as progressive design elements, including a black panel connecting the radiator grille with the headlamps. High-performance LED headlamps are fitted standard, with the optional DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps constantly adapting to the illumination of the road to the lighting conditions, traffic situation, course of the road and weather. Highlights at the rear include the two-section LED taillights with a new contour and unique star motif design.

When it comes to spaciousness, the E-Class is one of the favourites in its segment. The driver enjoys five millimetres more headroom than in the previous model. The rear passengers particularly benefit from the two centimetre-longer wheelbase: knee room and maximum legroom are increased by 10 and 17 millimetres respectively. The increase in elbow width in the rear is even greater: it is now 1,519 millimetres. This is an increase of 25 millimetres, and almost S-Class level. The luggage capacity is up to 540 litres.

Customers in Canada can further sharpen the look of the E-Class sedan with an array of paint options, including a new Verde Silver Metallic finish, a variety of wheel designs in 18″ to 21″ sizes, and an optional illuminated grille, where the contour of the radiator grille lights up as a perimeter light. The available DIGITAL LIGHT LED headlamps constantly adapt the illumination of the road to the lighting conditions, the traffic situation, the course of the road and the weather.

Standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive and AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping delivers outstanding ride comfort and agile handling. Available 4.5 Degree Rear Axle Steering, part of the optional AIRMATIC Package, further enhances handling stability and maneuverability. The package also includes AIRMATIC suspension with air springs and adaptive ADS+ dampers controlled automatically for each individual wheel, and separately during rebound and compression.

The new Mercedes-Benz Digital Vehicle Key, standard on the new E-Class, enables users to unlock, lock, and start the vehicle with a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch. Key sharing is also possible. In doing so, the main user of the Mercedes me Connect account can assign different access for each device3.
