ON November 13, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Mission RCMP responded to a report of a violent home invasion at a residence in Mission. Suspects entered the home and assaulted the occupants. The victims were pepper sprayed, and one individual was struck with a crowbar. During the altercation, one of the suspects sustained substantial injuries from the homeowner and fled the scene after stealing a number of long guns.

At approximately 2 a.m., a local hospital reported that a male with suspicious injuries had been dropped off by a Dodge Caravan. Police located and attempted to stop the vehicle in Abbotsford, which fled at a high rate of speed.  It was later located unoccupied, and police were unable to locate the occupants of the Caravan.

The suspect from the hospital was arrested and remains in custody on unrelated charges.  Two suspects remain outstanding.

Police have released photographs of an individual considered a person of interest in this investigation.
