TO raise awareness for Daffodil Month, MLA for West Vancouver-Capilano Karin Kirkpatrick shared her personal experience with cancer in the Legislature on Monday, and paid tribute to people committed to improving the lives of all those affected by cancer.

Kirkpatrick was diagnosed in November 2021 with invasive lobular cancer after a mammogram and has recently gone through radiation treatment with positive outcomes.

She recognized the fundamental impact brought by the Canadian Cancer Society and how ​its research has led to life-saving results, helping people live better with and beyond cancer.
