MOTI Johal has been recognized by Surrey Police Service for his extraordinary bravery.

SPS said in a post on X: “On July 23, a young, deaf, autistic child ran into oncoming traffic near Highway 10 in Surrey. Moti didn’t hesitate, he rushed to help, bringing the child to safety and preventing what could have been a tragic outcome.”

“Thank you, Moti, for your courage, quick thinking, and willingness to help in a moment of need,” Surrey Police added.

SPS Chief Constable Todd Matsumoto presented Johal with a letter of appreciation and a Surrey Police Service Challenge Coin.
