Surrey RCMP investigators have completed their on-scene investigative activities in response to the fatal pedestrian involved collision that was reported at approximately 3:30 a.m. The roads in the area of 115th Avenue and 132nd Street are no longer closed.
SURREY RCMP are currently investigating a fatal pedestrian involved hit and run collision in the Whalley area.
On May 21, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Surrey RCMP were advised by Emergency Health Services of an unconscious man in the middle of roadway at the intersection of 115th Avenue and 132nd Street. Despite all efforts to save the man’s life, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The involved vehicle and driver did not remain at the scene of the collision.
The Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service took conduct of the investigation and the area was closed to traffic.
