Parmvir Singh, 24, Manvir Khabra, 21, and two youths, all of Brampton, have now been arrested and charged
ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police’s investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have made an additional arrest in connection to a shooting homicide that occurred in Brampton last August.
On August 30, 2024, officers responded to a residential address on Milestone Drive in Brampton where they located an adult male who had been shot dead. The identify of the victim has not been released at the request of the family.
Three other individuals have already been arrested and charged in connection to this homicide.
Parmvir Singh, 24, of Brampton was charged with first-degree murder. Manvir Khabra, 21, and an 18-year-old male, both from Brampton were charged with manslaughter. The 18-year-old was a youth at the time of an incident and therefore cannot be named by police.
As the investigation unfolded, detectives identified a fourth suspect.
On Thursday, January 16, the fourth and final suspect, a 16-year-old youth from Brampton, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. They were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The identity of the youth cannot be disclosed as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
“I want to commend our investigators for their diligent efforts that will bring justice to the victim and closure for the family. We will continue to investigate and hold those accountable for such senseless and heinous crimes that threaten the safety of our communities,” said Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich.
