ONTARIO: Parmvir Singh, 23, of Brampton charged with first-degree murder

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police detectives from the Homicide Bureau have arrested Parmvir Singh, 23, of Brampton in connection to a shooting homicide that occurred in Brampton.

On Friday, August 30, officers responded to a residential address on Milestone Drive in Brampton where they located an adult male deceased in a vehicle who had been shot. At the family’s request, police are not releasing the victim’s identity.

Shortly before midnight on August 30, Parmvir Singh was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

While the motive for the shooting remains under investigation, detectives are confident that this shooting was isolated to the individuals involved and does not appear to be random.
