ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators with the Central Robbery Bureau have arrested 10 individuals following an extensive investigation into a series of violent carjackings and high-end vehicle thefts across the Greater Toronto Area.

Between June 2025 and April 2026, Project High Guard focused on 21 incidents of vehicle thefts, in which, in some cases, knives and firearms were brandished and victims were physically assaulted. In some cases, victims suffered severe injuries.

The investigation led officers beyond the individuals carrying out the robberies and uncovered a coordinated criminal network allegedly responsible for planning, directing, and profiting from the crimes. Investigators identified members responsible for targeting vehicles, organizing robberies and recruiting younger offenders.

Following a series of coordinated search warrants on September 3, Peel Regional Police arrested and charged the following men in connection with the investigation:

Ekamveer Randhawa, 20, of Halton Hills Shan Dhindsa, 20, of Brampton
Aryan Deol, 20, of BramptonTayvien Coley, 19, of Halton Hills
Manavjot Dhaliwal, 24, of Brampton Gregory Seniv, 37, of Mississauga
Parth Sharma, 21, of Oakville  Madhumeet Randawa, 37, of Brampton
Young Person, 17, of Brampton Young Person, 17, of Mississauga

Investigators laid more than 100 charges, recovered 15 stolen vehicles with a value of approximately $1.4 million, and seized four illegal firearms, along with ammunition and magazines.

The successful completion of this investigation was made possible through funding provided by the Ontario Government, Ministry of the Solicitor General in which the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario supported this investigation.

The Ontario Provincial Police provided investigative support, intelligence, and specialized resources, while the Toronto, Halton, and Hamilton police services assisted with executing warrants on the day of the arrests.

Since peaking in 2023, vehicle thefts across Peel Region have declined by more than 50 per cent and are down a further 10 per cent year-to-date in 2026.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators with the Central Robbery Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3410.

“Through Project High Guard, our investigators successfully worked up the chain, identifying not only those responsible for carrying out these robberies, but also the individuals alleged to have directed and benefited from them. Dismantling organized criminal networks requires partnerships and precision, and Project High Guard demonstrates our unwavering commitment to protecting the public and holding offenders accountable,” said Chief Nishan Duraiappah, Peel Regional Police.

“Organized criminals who terrorize our communities through violent carjackings and auto theft have no place on Ontario’s streets. Our government is proud to support investigations like Project High Guard through the Criminal Intelligence Service Ontario, giving police the resources they need to track down offenders, dismantle criminal networks and bring those responsible to justice. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our police partners to keep dangerous criminals off our streets and protect communities across Ontario,” said Michael S. Kerzner, Solicitor General of Ontario.
