ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested and charged a 33-year-old Brampton man wanted for sexual assault.
On Tuesday, July 25 at approximately 3 p.m., the victim, an 11-year-old female, was walking in the area of Dufay Road and Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton. She was approached by an unknown suspect who allegedly attempted to sell her sunglasses, made physical contact with her, and exposed himself.
Sunil Tak is charged with the following offences:
- Sexual assault
- Sexual interference
- Indecent exposure to persons under 16 years of age
He was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
