ONTARIO: Wanted offender Jagmohanjit Jheety of Saskatchewan arrested in Brampton

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Intimate Partner Violence Unit (IPV) on July 13 arrested a man with ties to Saskatchewan and Brampton wanted in connection with an IPV investigation.

On May 30, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Jagmohanjit Jheety, a 47-year-old man from Saskatchewan, for criminal harassment, harassing communications, uttering death threats, and fail to comply with release order.

On Saturday, July 13, investigators located Jheety in Brampton and arrested him for his outstanding warrant.

He was additionally charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm, careless storage of firearm, tampering with serial number of a firearm, and attempted murder.

Jheety was held pending a bail hearing.
