SURREY Police Service and BC RCMP Surrey Provincial Operational Support Unit (BC RCMP SPOSU) officers are investigating an overnight shooting at a residence in Newton that has resulted in property damage.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday, a resident of a house in the 7100-block of 128 Street in Surrey returned home to discover several gunshot holes in the side of their house. The shooting is suspected of happening sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday, January 5 and 1 a.m. on January 6. No one was home at the time of the shooting and there are currently no suspect descriptions.
BC RCMP SPOSU General Investigation Unit officers have been called in to lead the investigation.
