A young female pedestrian was struck by a semi-tractor power unit belonging to Canada Post shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday (December 27) in the area of Garden City Road and Sea Island Way.
Richmond RCMP said that the pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Richmond RCMP Road Safety Unit (RSU) has 
taken the lead in this investigation and will be assisted by the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS).
