WITH Sharnjit Singh Gill’s experience, talent, diligence and reputation, it comes as no surprise that he and his company have been selected as Excellence Awardee Finalists for the 2025 Canadian Mortgage Awards.

Gill himself has been chosen in the category of “Broker of the Year Regional- (Western Canada) (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia).”

Gill’s company — VERICO Superior Mortgage Inc. – has been selected in the category of “Brokerage of the Year (Fewer than 25 Employees).”

The awards ceremony and dinner banquet will take place on May 1 at Toronto Congress Center in Toronto.

“This recognition is a testament to our Team’s outstanding work. We have completed 55 years in banking and mortgages,” says Gill, who has served in three countries: India, UK and Canada.

Gill migrated to Canada in 1995 and joined Bank of Montreal as Financial Services Manager in 1996, serving in two branches: Surrey and Abbotsford.

Gill and his son, Raj Gill, became Top Producers with Envision Credit Union in 2003 with both receiving individual awards.

“Both honesty and hard work have paid off during my 55 years of working in banking and mortgages,” says Gill.

Father and son have been recognized as Top Mortgage Broker with Envision Credit Union in 2002 and 2003 and also in 2018 and 2019.

They were ranked Top Mortgage Broker with Coast Capital Savings in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
