Shooting in South Vancouver

THERE are reports of a shooting in South Vancouver. A witness told the media that around 9 p.m. on Thursday a black pickup truck pulled into a strip mall at Granville Street and West 70th Avenue with two bullet holes in the driver’s side window. A man clutching his neck came out and was told by police officers to sit down.

Vancouver Police said on Friday that the man was shot while his vehicle was parked near Southwest Marine Drive and Yew Street, and he drove to 70th and Marine Drive for help. The man is stated to be in critical condition.
