Delta Police investigators believe that this incident was targeted.  Officers continue to investigate and will remain in the area.  The request for public to avoid this area has been lifted.

DELTA Police are currently investigating a report of shots-fired call in the 9400-block of River Road that occurred at 10:49 a.m. on Monday.  There are no injuries; however, a vehicle has been located with bullet holes.

There is a heavy police presence in the area currently, and police ask that the public remain out of the area while they investigate. Officers believe the suspect has fled the area. The suspect is described as male, wearing all black clothing.

Police say the motivation for this incident is not known and they will provide a further update once they have been able to determine more details.
