A South Asian trucker is dead reportedly from a drug overdose while his companion who had also reportedly taken drugs survived.

Langley RCMP told The VOICE that they could not comment on the incident that occurred last weekend at a Langley transport company’s lot because the Coroner’s Office was dealing with the case. The Coroner’s Office has yet to return this newspaper’s call.

The Langley company told The VOICE that the truck driver was not their employee. They said that there were all kinds of rumours floating around about how the trucker died and they would only know the exact cause of death after the Coroner’s report.
