THE Surrey Board of Trade has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport to host a consultation session to gather insights and perspectives from participants representing the LGBTQ2SI+, BIPOC, South Asian, and business communities regarding the proposed South Asian Heritage Museum, an initiative spearheaded by the Province.
This consultation session is a pivotal step towards ensuring inclusivity and representation within the planning and development of the South Asian Heritage Museum. The input gathered from diverse voices will play a significant role in shaping the vision, content, and programming of this cultural landmark.
The event takes place on Thursday, June 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Surrey Board of Trade Conference Room, Unit 101, 14439 104 Avenue, Surrey.
