SURREY RCMP are seeking to locate a wanted man, Kwabena Bosiako, who left his court-mandated residence in Surrey and has removed his electronic monitoring device.

Bosiako was under 24/7 house arrest with conditions including electronic monitoring while awaiting trial on charges in relation to a Port Coquitlam armed robbery that occurred on November 22, 2022, at the Journey Chrysler car dealership located at 1881 Lougheed Highway. Also, shots were fired at Coquitlam RCMP members.

The charges include multiple counts of robbery using an unauthorized firearm, discharging a firearm with intent and flight from police. Based on this previous incident, police believe he poses a risk to public safety and are actively seeking to locate him. He should be considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised to call 911 if they see him.

Bosiako has an outstanding arrest warrant out of Burnaby for dangerous operation of a conveyance that was issued on June 5, 2023. In addition to the warrant, he is currently in breach of his court imposed release conditions.

Bosiako is described as a 22-year-old, black male, 5’11’, 186 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes (see photo).
