WRESTLING legend and philanthropist Tiger Jeet Singh, who came to Canada from Sujapur, Ludhiana in Punjab, India, in 1970, held his foundation’s annual Miracle on Main event this past Monday at Gateway Chevrolet, Brampton, in partnership with the Peel Regional Police to support families across Peel this holiday season.

Community members came out in support, including special guest Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown. “A fantastic day with an exciting cheque presentation for $100,000 that will go toward toys for youth and support local food banks!” wrote Peel Regional Police on X.

The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation established Miracle on Main Street in 2009. The Foundation formed a partnership with Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Toys for Tots in 2017 and with Peel Regional Police Service (PRP) in 2024 with the hope of being able to provide for more families in need across the Regions of Halton and Peel.
