VANCOUVER Police on Friday released video and images of an assault suspect, and are asking the public for help to identify him.
Two men were standing outside a restaurant near Powell Street and Gore Avenue on February 8 just before 5 p.m. when the suspect deployed pepper spray in their faces. The suspect then crossed the street and travelled west on Powell Street toward a building.
Vancouver Police have now obtained video of the assault and images of the suspect, and are asking the public for help to identify him. The suspect appears to be a white man in his 30s. He was wearing a black sweat suit with distinctive red writing down the left arm and leg.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to call Vancouver Police at 604-717-4022.
