Both engines come with a new 9-speed automatic transmission. There is a diesel variant coming soon, at 1.6-liter engine with 135 horsepower. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and provides much better fuel economy. The Denali model offers exemplary safety. There is clever underfloor storage in the cargo area, the rear hatch can be operated by with the key fob or the standard hands-free system instead. Cargo capacity is rated at: 838L (29.6 cu. On the road, the Terrains steering and handling have been tightened up with more precise handling, steering and on road dynamics.  With the smooth, powerful engine providing decent enough acceleration and a well sorted suspension set up, the Terrain provided a smooth and comfortable ride in the varied road and winter conditions we encountered.
