ON Saturday, May 16 at approximately 12:32 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to an assault incident in the 5400 block of Brydon Crescent.

Frontline officers attended the scene and located the victim and evidence consistent with a shooting. A 27-year-old man has been transported to a local area hospital for further assessment.

“The investigation is still in its early stages and Police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “At this time, the incident appears to be targeted, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
