35-year-old man shot in North Delta

DELTA Police said on Sunday that they were informed by Surrey RCMP that a male suffering from a gunshot wound had made his way to hospital for treatment. From the information gathered, Delta Police responded to the 11800-block of 88th Avenue where the shooting had occurred.

Delta Police Major Crimes Section are investigating to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting. Initial indications are that this incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. and appears to be an isolated incident involving two individuals known to each other. The 35-year-old male victim’s injuries are non-life threatening in nature. The parties involved are uncooperative with police.
