INDIAN Consul General Masakui Rungsung on Sunday, February 1 joined members of the Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha to celebrate the 649th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidass.
In his remarks, Rungsung said that Guru Ravidass was a visionary saint, poet, and social reformer, whose teachings of love, equality, and humanity continue to resonate in today’s world.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests including Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley and Burnaby Councillor Sav Dhaliwal.
