Sukhdial Singh and Supinder Kaur of Brampton wanted for high-end vehicle frauds totalling over $500,000

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Fraud Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two persons wanted in connection with multiple high-end vehicle frauds.

Between April 11 and May 5, it is alleged that the persons fraudulently obtained five high-end vehicles from various auto dealerships across the Greater Toronto Area. Investigators believe the suspects used fictitious and fraudulent information to secure auto financing, unlawfully acquiring the vehicles. The total value of the vehicles obtained through this fraud is estimated at $531,500.

Police believe the suspects intended to ship the vehicles out of the country, as one was recovered near the Port of Montreal and another in Halton Region. The remaining vehicles are still outstanding.

Investigators have identified Sukhdial Singh, a 50-year-old man, and Supinder Kaur, a 48-year-old woman, both from Brampton. Warrants have been issued for their arrests for five counts of fraud over $5,000.

Fraudulently obtaining vehicles is a method used in organized auto theft, and this investigation has contributed to reducing its occurrence in the region, police said.

Anyone with information pertaining to this matter, including the location of Singh and Kaur is asked to contact the Fraud Bureau at (905) 453-3311, ext. 3335.  Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
