* The expense limit for a Mayor of Surrey candidate is $251,962.07

* The expense limit for a Mayor of Vancouver candidate is $257,500.52

* The expense limit for a candidate for the Surrey City Council is $137,511.79

* The expense limit for a candidate for the Vancouver City Council is $141,152.04

Expense limits for general local elections are calculated by the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs, Ministry of Education and Childcare, and Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
