BRAMPTON, Ontario: Investigators with the Peel Regional Police Street Crime Gang Unit have arrested Kumwant Brar, a 27-year-old male, and Sandeep Gill, a 35-year-old female, both of Brampton, and charged them with several firearm-related offences and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
On Saturday, April 11, members of the Street Crime Gang Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Millsborough Road, Brampton. They seized:
* 92.7 grams of Heroin
* 6.3 grams of Methamphetamine
* Two handguns
* A quantity of ammunition
Brar and Gill were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
