SURREY RCMP are investigating a serious assault which occurred in the 8600-block of 140th Street on Saturday, July 27 just before midnight.

Police received a report of an injured male who was suffering injuries from a serious assault. Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police Front Line officers attended to the location and located a 19 year old resident of Vancouver who was suffering from serious non-life-threatening injuries. The male was transported to hospital.

The suspect had fled from the scene prior to police arrival in a black newer BMW 4-door sedan. A person of interest has been identified.
Surrey RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have surveillance and / or dash cam video to call them at 604-599-0502 or CrimeStoppers in reference to Surrey File # 2019-113449.
