ON Thursday, March 26 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Abbotsford Police say they were notified that two dirt bike riders who had failed to stop for police in the Vancouver area, following a motor vehicle offence, were being tracked by the police helicopter (Air 1) into their city.

Abbotsford Police said policing is a team effort and their officers quickly moved in to assist. Within minutes, their officers were in position and safely arrested both riders after they ran out of roadway.

“Road safety remains a priority for AbbyPD. Driving dangerously and attempting to flee from police puts everyone at risk. If you choose to do so and come to Abbotsford, you will be held accountable for your criminal actions,” said Abbotsford Police in a post on X.
