Abbotsford Police’s satellite police office at Highstreet Shopping Centre

ABBOTSFORD Police on Tuesday announced its new satellite police office in the Highstreet Shopping Centre at 3122 Mount Lehman Road. This location will provide frontline officers a platform to connect with the community in the west Abbotsford region.
Throughout the summer, Abbotsford Police will be hosting community pop-up events at its Highstreet location for a chance to connect in person with the community. These events offer set days and times where the public can meet the police and discuss various community topics and concerns that are important to them.
The Highstreet location is not staffed 24 hours a day and is not equipped to take police reports in person. Therefore, citizen’s wishing to make a police report should proceed to the online reporting for non-emergency crimes or call the non-emergency number at 604-859-5225. All crimes in progress are to be reported by calling 9-1-1.
“At Primaris REIT, our parent company, we proudly embrace our role in shaping and supporting our communities. Our team at Highstreet Shopping Centre looks forward to supporting the Abbotsford Police Department in their effort to making Abbotsford a safe place for everyone,” said Lee Quesnelle, Property Manager, Highstreet Shopping Centre.

“I am pleased to open our West Abbotsford AbbyPD [Abbotsford Police Department] satellite office. I know this office location will help further develop community connections and support increased public engagement with your AbbyPD officers. We look forward to hosting community pop-up events at this location and increasing AbbyPD’s presence in the west Abbotsford region in support of Abbotsford becoming the safest city in BC. I want to thank the Highstreet Shopping Centre for their collaborative approach to supporting public safety,” said Deputy Chief Dan Culbertson.
