THERE has been an arrest in the homicide case of Trina Hunt of Port Moody, but police are not releasing the name of the suspect until charges are laid.
On January 18, 48-year-old Hunt, 48, was reported missing to the Port Moody Police Department on January 18, 2021. An extensive search began by police, Trina’s family and members of the community.
On March 29, human remains, with indications of foul play, were found near Hope, south of Silver Creek. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took conduct of the file and as the investigation progressed, police were able to confirm that the human remains belonged to Hunt.
