Bomb threat in Surrey, one male arrested

ON Sunday (August 12), at approximately 5:52 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a bomb threat at a business near the intersection of King George Boulevard and 96th Avenue.

Officers contained the scene and subsequently entered a business and arrested the suspect without incident.

A 43-year-old male has been arrested and remains in custody. Numerous charges under the Criminal Code are pending.
