Brampton’s Satnam Singh and Gurkirat Dhaliwal in custody after multiple commercial break-and-enters

IN November 2025, Ontario’s Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives began an investigation into a break-and-enter that occurred at a Vape Store on Lake Street in the City of St Catharines.

The investigation revealed two males had forced their way into the store at approximately 4:25 a.m. on Saturday, November 15. The two males stole approximately $31,000 of vapor products and fled the scene.

Detectives discovered that two other similar break-and-enters had occurred at a store on Ontario Street in West Lincoln, and at a store on Upper James Street in Hamilton. During these incidents, the suspects stole a large quantity of vapour products, with an estimated value of $70,000.

With assistance from Waterloo Regional Police Service, the investigation identified two suspect addresses, including a storage unit and a commercial store front in the City of Brampton. Detectives applied for and were granted judicial search warrants for the addresses. Approximately 1,000 stolen vapor products were recovered, with an estimated value of $40,000. As a result of the investigation, detectives have identified two suspects in the matter.

Satnam Singh, 31, and Gurkirat Dhaliwal, 30, both of Brampton, are each charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5,000 (2 counts)
  • Break-and-Enter – Commit Theft
