Burnaby RCMP ask for public help to identify suspect in alleged indecent act

BURNABY RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and potential witnesses in an alleged indecent act.

The incident occurred on Friday, September 8, at approximately 1:30 p.m. in a coffee shop in the 4800-block of Kingsway. The victim called police immediately after the incident, however, the suspect was no longer on scene when police arrived.

The suspect is described as 60-70 years old with some facial hair and grey hair (balding).
He was wearing a white linen long-sleeved shirt. matching white linen pants. a grey vest and brown dress shoes.
“This incident occurred in a very public place, which is troubling and traumatic to everyone involved,” said Cpl. Mike Kalanj. “If you can identify the man in the photo or can provide any information, please contact our investigators.”
