THE suspect in an alleged carjacking this week in Vancouver has now been charged.
VPD officers responded just after 4 a.m. on December 1 to a 9-1-1 call from a security guard who reported that a stranger, armed with a knife and a broken glass bottle, had stolen his car near Prior and Milross Avenue and fled the area.
VPD officers located the vehicle and the suspect near Slocan Street and East 23rd Avenue.
The BC Prosecution Service has approved one count each of robbery, uttering threats, and theft of a motor vehicle against 34-year-old Sebastien Boire.
